Natalie draws on decades of experience in leadership coaching, psychosocial change management and counselling in her work with organisations, individuals, couples and families. She is a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association and has worked with a variety of clients in her private practice in Sydney and now Perth.
As a warm, empathetic, hands-on and practical counsellor, she enjoys working with individuals and couples facing unique challenges with infertility, IVF, overwhelm, burnout, life transitions, and FIFO (fly-in-fly-out) in Perth.
Her considered, compassionate approach, and lived experience helps clients raise awareness and understanding of themselves and others to create an elevated sense of wellbeing by tapping into their inner resources through practical tools and coping strategies.
Outside of the counselling room, her volunteer work as a youth mentor with the Raise Foundation and as a grief support counsellor for NALAG (National Association for Loss and Grief) enabled her to support those in distress or at risk.

Approach
The aim of counselling is to relieve distress, raise awareness and understanding of oneself and others, and create an elevated sense of wellbeing by tapping into your inner resources and putting things into perspective.
Using a trauma-informed, person-centred approach to counselling means that you set the context for the sessions and are always treated as the expert in your life.
Through evidence-based therapy techniques like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, we can together identify the inner skills and resources you can draw on as we explore, reflect, and connect the issues you’re experiencing.
“The most basic of all human needs is the need to understand and be understood.”
— Dr Ralph Nichols.
